DUARTE, CA, December 1, 2011 – The City of Duarte through its franchised trash hauler, Burrtec Waste, will provide a Christmas tree collection service for residential customers in conjunction with Sanitation districts of Los Angeles County annual Christmas Tree Recycling program. The trees will be ground up for composting or used for the County Sanitation Districts' landfill Cover Project.
