Call 211 and Report Private Storm Damage

As City and private crews continue working on the long task of clearing debris from City streets, medians and parks, Duarte also embarks on the detailed process of collecting accurate damage assessment information

resulting from last week's hurricane-force windstorm. “Duarte has suffered an unknown economic hit as a result of last week’s record breaking windstorm,” noted Duarte Mayor, John Fasana. Adding, “We need our residents and businesses help in documenting the devastation by calling 211 and reporting their damage.”

Help Keep Storm Drains Clean

Rain and thunderstorms are in the weather forecast for the City of Duarte. City crews and contractors are still busy collecting green windstorm debris placed in public areas including streets near storm drains from the recent windstorms.

City officials are concerned that blocked storm drains could lead to standing water or flooding in some areas. To avoid this additional complication, residents are asked to check whether water in their street could reach storm drains and, if not, to clear a path for it by moving storm debris as needed.
